GB Baseball Press and Communications Officer Vacancies

BBF (British Baseball Federation) is recruiting press and communications officers to cover the Great Britain Baseball Women’s Senior, U18s, U15s and U12s teams.

The voluntary positions will play a vital role in promoting and covering our national teams as the prepare for European competition in 2025 and beyond.

As well as working with the teams during competitions, either online or in person, the postholders will work with the coaches and players to :-

  • Raise awareness among audiences and stakeholders of all aspects of the GB Baseball programmes
  • Improve the understanding of all aspects of GB Baseball by the target audiences and stakeholders
  • Increase engagement between GB Baseball and its audiences and stakeholders
  • Increase the commitment to support GB Baseball from key audiences and stakeholders

The successful applicants will need to demonstrate experience and understanding of:-

  • Media relations
  • Social media management
  • Branding and values
  • Content creation
  • Tournament communications
  • Team working
  • Crisis management

New Participation & Programmes Officer

BaseballSoftballUK (BSUK) is seeking to appoint a Participation & Programmes Officer as part of the Development team.

The Participation & Programmes Officer will play a crucial role in the relationship between education and our sports, including with the MLB London Series Legacy Programme!

This role is crucial in ensuring that the Legacy of the London Series lasts long after the final out. You will be working across organisations to help deliver the Legacy programme, creating connections between the education sector and Britain’s baseball and softball clubs, and driving the growth of the sports across all disciplines – fastpitch softball, baseball, and slowpitch softball.

Head Groundskeeper & Site Manager at Farnham Park

BaseballSoftballUK is seeking a Head Groundskeeper for the National Baseball & Softball Complex at Farnham Park. This role is eligible for a Skilled Worker Visa.

The National Baseball & Softball Complex at Farnham Park is located in Farnham Royal, Buckinghamshire, and features two international baseball fields, five duel-use softball and youth-baseball fields, a bullpen, and on-site pub and grill, and storage facilities.

The facility hosts baseball and softball league play, national and international tournaments and development sessions from March through to the end of October.

The Head Groundskeeper will design and execute the work plan for Farnham Park, service events hosted at the complex, and develop the site as a local, national, and international baseball & softball destination.

The Head Groundskeeper role is open for foreign applicants, and BaseballSoftballUK will endeavour to work with the successful applicant to secure a Skilled Worker Visa to live and work in the United Kingdom.
