International Wheelchair Basketball Camp Returns for 2024!

This week-long camp is set to take place from the 20th – 25th of July at sportscotland’s Inverclyde National Sports Training Centre.
The camp will be split into two groups: a 10–16 development camp and a 16+ performance camp. It will provide participants with the experience of what it means to be a performance player while offering the opportunity to create connections, play with people from all over the world, and receive coaching from some of the best in the sport.

For the third year running, we are thrilled to welcome back Janet Zeltinger, a former Paralympic athlete and one of the world’s most celebrated wheelchair basketball players, as the camp leader. Zeltinger was a key pillar of the Canadian National Team throughout the last decade, and her expertise and passion for the sport continue to inspire athletes worldwide.
“It is a pleasure to once again be joining the Scottish Wheelchair Basketball Summer Camp this summer. I am looking forward to working with young, enthusiastic, and passionate athletes and sharing ideas with coaches from across the UK.”
With Zeltinger’s exceptional leadership, participants at the 2025 International Wheelchair Camp can look forward to learning from the best, refining their skills, and enjoying an unforgettable experience under her guidance.

Camp Details and Logistics
Where: Inverclyde National Sports Training Centre, Largs.
When: Monday, July 20th, 2025 (arrivals scheduled for 14:00) – Friday, July 25th, 2025 (departure at 13:00).
Cost: £450 per person.
All-Inclusive Package: The registration fee covers all aspects of the camp, including accommodation, meals and a camp kit, so players can focus solely on training and enjoyment while all the details are taken care of.
