Concerned fans hit back at a statement which has been issued by the Dagenham & Redbridge chairman amid current struggles.
The Daggers have posted a statement from their chairman, Daniel Hall, amid fan frustration following an eight-match winless streak, including a recent 3-0 loss to Eastleigh in midweek.
The result leaves Dagenham sitting 17th in the National League with 34 points from 32 games played, are 4 points above the drop zone and teams in and around the relegation zone have games in hand.
Hall, who became chairman in October 2024 under the Club Underdog brand aiming for League One, faces criticism for the team’s poor performance and the club’s management decisions, while also expressing dissatisfaction with the ownership and direction.
A Message from the Chairman, Daniel Hall.

STATEMENT FROM CHAIRMAN:
Daggers,
We all know that results haven’t been good enough. No one at this club—players, staff, or leadership—accepts losing. Winning is our priority, and we are all working tirelessly to turn these results around.
On the sporting side, we seek to back our manager with players that help us today and allow us to build for the future. We are forming a team that reflects our values: hardworking, relentless, and ambitious to progress. Sometimes that means making difficult decisions to build a competitive team or finding new solutions to gain an edge. We urge patience and support while this movement takes root.
Success in the National League isn’t given—it’s earned—and we are committed to doing what it takes to lead the club to winning ways.
However, the players, the manager, and the staff can’t do it alone. We need your support. In football, momentum is everything, and we must regain ours. We call on your support more than ever now, to breathe confidence into our players. Every voice in the stands, every show of belief, makes a difference. We all want the same thing—to win. And the only way forward is together.
COYD

Junior Morias and Ben Strevens’ alarming statements raises concerns about Dagenham
As mentioned, Ccncerned fans hit back at a statement issued by the Dagenham chairman addressing the current struggles…
@JimPars53543240: What a load of absolute, unadulterated DRIBBLE. Worrying it took you 24 hrs to work on. These owners dont appear to have any values & if they do, they certainly wouldn’t fit under the bracket of hardworking & ambitious. Nothing about Strevs, Justham, Thompson, King… nothing.
@DavidBickley94: Missing the point Dan, the on-field matters clearly needs addressing, but there numerous off-field contributing factors which are not being acknowledged or addressed.
@Doigey93: Just misread the room completely, the actions of the sporting director have made his position untenable and his removal from the job is the only way to not alienate a large portion of the fan base and maybe allow some trust back to the ownership.
@Puffin_CPFC: Shit cop out. ‘We need the fans’ yet you want to charge £25 on the gate for tickets to watch a load of trousers. Forced out half the cult heroes and left the squad paper thin. #HallOut #ParishOut #EveryoneOut
@SteveyAsp: It doesn’t really say much but at least they hear from their Chairman….. Ours keeps his head below the parapet, probably with a pencil up each nostril, a carrot up his arse and shouting wibble
@OnceADagger: this bloke is actually a moron
@Diggerthedog1: This in a nutshell should have been confirmation JK has been dismissed and a plan as to why they’re doing it all on the cheap, only then could we understand what the fuck is going on. Instead it’s just another kick in the bollocks. This will be my last season, fuck em.
@LLcoolJames91: Absolute joke of a statement @Dag_RedFC fans deserve more than what is basically a cop out/chat GPT statement like this. This clubs getting more rotten by the day sadly.
@Charlie_Hadds: I don’t understand what this is meant to say or achieve. If there was no intention of addressing the concerns raised by fans, then it would’ve been better to say nothing at all.
@justjoeo_: At 32/32 for the season. Put Halifax away in the calendar the moment it was moved to a Tuesday night. Not exactly motivated
@drfc_sam: Thanks for the note Daniel. Keep the faith. Better days ahead. COYD
@BradEngle90: What a poor statement! They shouldn’t have the rights to own us!
@RJG_22: That’s awful. Addresses nothing, assures less.
@JgGillingham: What pointless and predictable statement that was
@whufcalg: Fuck off
@9men: I’m kinda speechless tbh
@Jackoldland1992: That’s a shamballs
@AnthonyNugent97: What a load of get @james____king out of the club, building a squad that is clearly not capable
@Dazzarogers: A load of nothing with no action. Relegation confirmed carrying on as we are
@TheMemphisEra: So basically a knackered statement saying your backing the manager with players that he wants. Where was this same energy for Ben, majority of them player were not HIS players. Shit statement, by a shit ownership.
@henners_13: The fucking cheek of you Daniel hall, didn’t get home till 1 in the morning on Wednesday and you want more of our support, fucking cheek of you, shit statement, shit manager, shit sporting director, club is rotten from top to bottom, sort it out
@BenOConnell13: Pathetic just like the sporting director.
@vanboy59: Then give the fans a reason to. Better player’s and a manager who knows what he’s doing and make them accountable for there poor performances and get KING AND THOMPSON OUT there toxic killing the club this club has got worse since u sacked Strevens I never thought that possible
@nobbsey1991: What a load of absolute bollocks
@BoxingBoshBoy: That’s actually shocking. Fuck off.
@daggers255: Better off not saying anything. Don’t address any issues, fucking dunce
@CharlieDobbo09: Shit statement waste of time
