His signing has gone down very well with fans and his former players. He tweeted: “Can’t wait to get going and meet the lads this week! ⚽❤😀 thanks for the warm welcome 👊🏼

CLUB STATEMENT:

Brackley Town are thrilled to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Jack Price, bringing a wealth of quality and pedigree to St James Park ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 32-year-old boasts an outstanding career that includes over 90 appearances for Wolverhampton Wanderers, a successful five-year spell in Major League Soccer with Colorado Rapids, and time with Shrewsbury Town on his return to England. Calm in possession, tactically intelligent, and a natural leader, Price arrives as a major addition to the Saints’ midfield.

Manager Gavin Cowan expressed his delight at securing the signing: “Jack will bring a wealth of experience to the squad and is a real leader on and off the pitch. We’re really pleased to have him on board at a time in his career where he is motivated and determined to make an impact!”

Price came through the academy at Wolves, making his first-team debut in 2013 and becoming a regular in the Championship. In 2018, he moved to Colorado Rapids, where he became club captain and a fan favourite, recording the most assists by a midfielder in the club’s history, he was also named team MVP for the Colorado Rapids four consecutive times.
